Science Software Simulation
Science Software Simulation
ViMarS Simulator or Virtual Reality Marine Simulator is DNV&GL certified,
new generation simulator for education and assessment of Marine Navigators.
VIMARS is designed with full integration for use in Virtual Reality and consists of three main parts:
– Python program language engine for mathematical calculations – python.org
– Unity software-based 3D environment;
– Web-based instructors console, which can be accessed in an internet browser .
There are three ways of use of simulator and installation:
– as conventional simulator – with hardware interface or on desktop computers with projectors or medias;
– as VR simulator with software transfer of position with Head Mounted Display;
– as VR simulator with a calibrated position tracking system.
ViMarS is designed with web-based instructors console, which can be accessed in internet browser.

The simulator is designed to use the advantages of Virtual Reality and modern computer programs to present a software bridge for education and assessment of Marine Navigators.
The first bulgarian certified ship simulator by DNV.
One of the first in the world ship simulator in VR mode certified by DNV.
ViMarS is in compliance with STCW and can be used for simulation of Navigational Watch, sailing in restricted waters and fairways, mooring, anchoring, using of tugs and port maneuverings in all environmental conditions.
